Brian Lee Chee
Brian Lee Chee has been playing guitar for 18 years, and joined LRMC in September, 2017. While guitar is his specialty, he displays his love and passion for music by taking on a diverse range of students - spanning 5 musical instruments! From piano, to drums, guitar, bass, & ukulele, Brian loves teaching his students, as it’s something he’s wanted to do for years. A few years ago, he was giving private guitar lessons to students of all ages, and after giving it up to pursue another endeavor, Brian discovered that an occupation in music was the only occupation he ever wanted to have!
At age 10 a friend put a guitar in Brian’s hands, taught him some basics, and he is all self-taught from there! After spending the only money he had from working with his father, he bought his first, and very own electric guitar at the age of 13, and the rest is history! Brian enjoys listening to punk rock and heavy metal, but shows diversity in his playing, so he may be able to speak the same “musical language” as players with different musical tastes! He enjoys playing for friends, family, and crowds at the beach, and also writes original music. Brian has fronted several bands since high school, and even has a home studio where he records the music he writes, in hopes of one day being able to share it with the world! Brian has expressed nothing but enjoyment since joining LRMC, and hopes to inspire the next generation to fall in love with music as much as he has.
