LRMC Special Policies
- Reserves a weekly timeslot and has top priority in the calendar
- Includes up to 42 lessons per year starting the month of enrollment.
- 10 vacation days are conveniently prorated out the program cost that don’t need a makeup or reschedule.
- Lessons are billed in 12 equal monthly installments on the 15th of each month to reserve the timeslots for the following month.
- Automatic renewal unless 30-day written notice is submitted before the next billing cycle.
- In the event that lessons are discontinued prior to the end of the 12-month cycle by providing a 30-day written notice, attendance and amounts paid will be calculated and prorated to our current semester pricing.
- If all 42 lessons are used before the cycle ends, additional lessons may be taken at the current a la carte rate and monthly billing will continue until the cycle renews.
- If LRMC is provided 24 hours’ notice, a lesson cancelled for any reason will be eligible to be rescheduled, or to count towards one of the 10 included vacation days.
- Makeup lessons must be completed within the 12-month cycle and cannot be “rolled-over” or credited.
Semester Program Policies

- Enrolls students for a seasonal term; tuition varies by term length and lesson length.
- Option to pay in full or with a 50% deposit at registration; remaining balance billed on specified date.
- Enrollment for each semester will begin approximately one month prior to the next semesters start date.
- Scheduling priority is given to returning students with completed, paid registrations.
- Missed lessons with 24 hours’ notice may be made up within the current semester or in the designated makeup week.
- If the student or family wishes to discontinue lessons during a term, a refund of 50% of the remaining lessons will be issued by LRMC.
General Policies (Apply to All Programs)
- Canceled/missed lessons without 24 hours’ notice will be counted toward the registered program and will not be eligible for a makeup, credit, or refund.
- Scheduled makeup lessons that are cancelled or missed by the student are not eligible to be rescheduled.
- Lessons are subject to teacher availability. In the event of teacher illness, professional engagement, or weather-related closure, LRMC will provide a substitute instructor or a makeup lesson will be offered.
- If a student is late, the remaining time will be taught but any time missed may be lost.
- In case of prolonged illness involving hospitalization, full credit will be issued for lessons missed.
- PLEASE NOTE: Because LRMC provides lessons for both public and private school students; we are unable to adhere to a specific school calendar. Please call us to verify the status of classes during times of inclement weather or other emergencies.
- All matters related to accounting, scheduling, or any other administrative concerns must be directed to the LRMC administrative team, not to the instructor. The front desk can be reached by email, phone, or text. Communications received outside of regular office hours will be addressed during LRMC’s next scheduled business hours.
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE per family is $35.00. Checks made payable to Long Ridge Music Center.
